Trolling the Polls

Here's a look at where the Centennial Conference stands in the national and regional polls.

Field Hockey
The Conference has three teams in the NFHCA top 20 this week. Ursinus comes in at No. 5, while Johns Hopkins and Gettysburg are No. 8 and No. 13, respectively.

Football
Dickinson is knocking on the door of both top 25 polls. The Red Devils are fourth among those receiving votes from D3football.com, while Muhlenberg also received votes. Dickinson and Johns Hopkins also picked up votes in the American Football Coaches Association initial ranking.

Soccer (M)
The Centennial Conference is making quite the name for itself on the national scene. According to the NSCAA, Swarthmore (9) and Dickinson (18) are among the top 25 in the country, while D3soccer.com has three teams in its list - Swarthmore (3), Dickinson (12) and Johns Hopkins (18).

Soccer (W)
Not to be outdone, the Centennial women are also making national noise. The NSCAA has Johns Hopkins (14) and Swarthmore (20) in its top 25, while D3soccer.com has Dickinson (21) joining the Blue Jays (14) and Garnet (18).

Volleyball
Haverford is one of just three East Coast teams among this week's AVCA top 25, placing 21st overall. Juniata (#2) and Eastern (#23) are the others.

Cross Country polls will be released later today.
