Five-Star Matchups

It's the last week of regular season play in the Conference and playoff positions are up for grabs.

Swarthmore at Haverford
Ursinus at Muhlenberg
Dickinson at Gettysburg
(Women's Soccer)

These three matches will go a long way to clearing up the playoff picture for next week's Conference championship tournament ... or maybe not? The Mules (7-1, 10-5) are two wins away from securing the top seed and home field for the tournament, but the Bears (4-3-1, 8-5-1) find themselves in a must-win situation. 'Berg leads the all-time series, 11-4, but Ursinus won the last meeting in Allentown in 2007. The Garnet (6-2, 12-3) and the Fords (6-2, 11-2-2) square off for the 26th time in their rivalry with a lot on the line. Both teams are tied for third place in the Conference and are still alive for the top seed ... or a bye in the first round. The last two games between the schools have ended in draws. The Red Devils (5-3, 12-3) find themselves alone in fifth place in the Conference but take on a Bullet squad (4-3-1, 9-5-1) that is a half-game back. Dickinson has not won at the Battlefield since 1988.

Dickinson at Gettysburg (Field Hockey)
This is the 41st time that the Red Devils (4-4 CC, 6-9) and the Bullets (5-2, 11-4) have played hockey since 1954 with Gettysburg winning four straight for a 28-10-2 lead. Dickinson is in a three-way tie for the fifth and final playoff spot with Haverford and Muhlenberg, while Franklin & Marshall is just a half-game back. The Bullets are still looking to secure a top-three spot to avoid the first-round game.
