Five-Star Matchups 10/10

It's a quiet weekend around the Conference in terms of "big" games, but the teams at the top of the standings still have to "get it done" to keep their standing in the Conference. The best matches takes place in Baltimore and Carlisle ...

Johns Hopkins at Dickinson (Men's Soccer)
Two of the top teams in the Conference and the Middle Atlantic region square off on the pitch in Carlisle on Saturday, as Johns Hopkins (3-0-1 CC, 9-2-2) travels to Dickinson (3-1, 9-3). The Blue Jays hold a 28-12-3 series advantage, but the Red Devils captured a 2-1 decision last fall in Baltimore. Dickinson has not defeated Hopkins in Carlisle since 1993 - a stretch of six straight matches. JHU's Scott Bukoski leads the Conference with nine goals, while Dickinson's Zach Pritchard tops the Devils with five.

Washington at Johns Hopkins (Field Hockey)
The surprising Shorewomen (4-0, 9-1) get their chance to break into the national top 20 when they take on the sixth-ranked Blue Jays (4-0, 11-1) in Baltimore. Washington has won eight straight games - the program's longest winning streak since 1997 - while Hopkins won 11 consecutive contests to open the season before suffering a 3-0 loss to #3 TCNJ last Sunday. It is the 25th meeting between the two schools with JHU holding a 15-9 series advantage.

What about Washington (9-1, 4-0) at #6 Johns Hopkins (11-1, 4-0) in field hockey? :-)
