Field Hockey Players of the Week

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Emily Miller, Johns Hopkins (Sr, F, Garden City, NY / Garden City) - Miller led Hopkins to wins over Swarthmore and Virginia Wesleyan last week with five goals and one assist. In Saturday's win over the Garnet, she assisted on the game winner and tallied two goals. On Sunday, Miller netted the sixth hat trick of her career and hit a historic milestone. With her third goal of the day, she surpassed Beth Cariello as Hopkins' all-time goals leader with 50. She now ranks ninth in Centennial Conference history in career goals.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Leah Horton, Johns Hopkins (Sr, D, Wayne, PA / Upper Merion) - Horton led a defense that held its opponents last week to a total of nine shots and one goal. She also scored a goal and added two assists as Johns Hopkins improved to 9-0 on the season.
