did mantone swim for swat?
This is such a disappointing eve. Couldn't make it up to F&M this year but thought it would be ok because we could watch it on-line and now this. It just isn't the same reading the scores.
No, she didn't. She swam for Gettysburg.
I would just like to say thank you so much to Steve Ulrich and his crew for all their hard work in putting this together. It's not his fault there are technical difficulties and it is amazing that we have this opportunity and service in the first place. We really appreciate it.
P.S. Go SWAT!!!
are you sure?
entering the 20-minute break ... we'll have backstroke times for you momentarily
GO DIPS
Thank you for all your efforts in spite of tech difficulties
i second the 8:31 post. anything i can watch is better than missing it altogether.
keep it up, garnet. i'm so proud of you.
can you please tape tomorrow night's seesion, too? Even if it's live as well, I think my "live" view, along with many others, is rather poor. I think it would be a lot clearer if we could download the video and watch it later. If i's too big, perhaps it would have to be split into events...
p.s. FIGHT ON DIPS!!!!!
what events did Lindsay Mantone swim?
enough with mantone......what about gordon "slim" chalmers?
100yd Breaststroke, 200yd Breaststroke, 200yd Individual Medley, 400yd Individual Medley
I'll third the 8:31 comment. Something is certainly better than nothing! Thanks alot Steve for doing all of this. Hope you get those difficulties worked out for tomorrow night! Go DIPS!
See the Gettysburg website. Seriously all of this is a google search away.

hey steve you are doing an awesome job with the championships and results. People need to realize we still have some limitations at this level sometimes.. You are going above and beyond..
Is there a way to split the blog into a results page and one for the comments. Its nice to see the banter but it would be nice to just have the results and not have to scroll through all the conversations. and comments everytime the camera moves or someone loses a feed..
thanks again for all your hard work
Can you include the senior program tomorrow?

Hey squale...this must be killing you not to be there with "the gang"
You have no idea how much it sucks to not be there with everyone. I got 5 calls alone yesterday from everyone and in the weeks leading up to champs I was contacted daily about if I was going or not. I guess perhaps that is one downfall to being way out in SW Ohio, but as you can see I'm following as closely as I can. That team will always be my "second" family and I will always support them in whatever way I can. Let's bring that trophy home tomorrow night!
Here here squale...as a alum parent I feel the same way!!!!!
Speaking of alum parents...mine (as you probably guessed) were there tonight filling in for me I guess you could say. I'm not sure who misses it more sometimes...me or them!
I third that notion!!!!! We'll be there in spirit and cheering our hearts out from wherever we are!
That is so true...we will cheer our hearts out but we have a pain in our hearts because we are not there
Do you guys really care this much? Is sad..
Yes we do....and what it really means is that we care about our kids and what they care about. Also the F&M parents (and kids) are some of the nicest people I have ever met.
right... says who? you? I was more talking about people yelling at Steve cause boo who they can't watch the meet. Chill out people. Can the weirdo that is obsessing about girls that graduated get lost?
This weekend is what swimmers train for starting all the way back in September (at the latest). To not care about this meet is simply not an option. And when you spend as much time with a certain group of people training to win a championship it's hard to suddenly not care anymore about it even after you graduate. I agree that people should certainly not yell at Steve for the technically difficulites. His live blogging is still more than anything in the past and like I've been saying something is better than nothing. However, if you want to come on here and be so abrasive to parents and others you can at least identify yourself. Don't be a coward and hide behind that "anonymous" shroud.
Steve I totally agree with you.
I applaud you for your honesty but most of all for your care, concern and dedication to Centennial Conf swimming
