Hoops Galore

Muhlenberg at McDaniel (Women's Basketball)
The Green Terror (19-2, 13-1 CC) can take a major step toward securing home court for the Centennial final four when it welcomes the Mules (19-3, 12-3) to the Gill Center. McDaniel defeated Muhlenberg, 70-45, back on Jan. 11 in the first meeting of the year to increase its series advantage to 13-11. The Mules are 4-4 in Westminster since 1994.

Ursinus at Johns Hopkins (Women's Basketball)
The Bears (14-8, 10-5), Blue Jays (12-8, 10-5) and Gettysburg (13-9, 10-5) are tied for fourth place in the Conference ... and only two of these teams will make the five-team tournament field. Ursinus defeated Hopkins,, 56-52, on Jan. 11 in Collegeville, but the Blue Jays have won 11 straight from the Bears at Goldfarb dating to a 74-70 UC win in 1995.

Ursinus at Johns Hopkins (Men's Basketball)
It will be quite a twinbill at Goldfarb as the Bear men (16-6, 13-2) and the Blue Jay men (19-3, 13-2) meet with first place on the line. Both of Hopkins' CC losses have come in the game before it meets Ursinus (Haverford, McDaniel). JHU won the first meeting between the teams by a 66-50 count in Collegeville on Jan. 11, breaking a four-game losing streak in the series.

Swarthmore at Gettysburg (Men's Basketball)
There are six teams still in the hunt for the Conference's three remaining playoff spots and the Garnet (10-12, 7-8) and Bullets (9-12, 7-8) are among them. Gettysburg won the first meeting of the year on Jan. 11 by a 52-49 count for its sixth straight victory in the series. Swarthmore's last triumph was a 68-62 decision over the Bullets at Bream Gym in 2004.
