A Full Day of Action

We have cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, swimming, wrestling, basketball ... whew! Keep up with a busy day of action right here.

Haverford finished 10th and Muhlenberg finished 29th at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country championships in West Chester, Ohio this afternoon. The Fords' Don Letts and Zach Vaslow placed 18th and 26th, respectively, to earn All-America honors. Dickinson's Matt Liebal took 41st place, missing All-America recognition by six spots.

a reminder to play-by-play guys ... remember to give the score on a regular basis ... we know that Widener is leading Ursinus with a minute to go in the ECAC Southwest Bowl, but we've waited about 10 minutes for the score. Arrrgh.

Bears win 1st national title; 4th national crown by Centennial member, 1st by a women's team.

Dickinson's Cait Bradley finishes 2nd (22:51) behind Willamette's Sarah Zerzan (22:31) in the individual race.
Red Devils finish 6th overall with 225 points. Haverford places 24th.

Men's Basketball:
Washington 36, Manhattanville 22 (6:33 1st)
The Shoremen have already surpassed their scoring output from last night.

Earlier today Washington beat Rosemont, 63-54, in women's hoops. Freshman Jane O'Donnell tied a school record with seven three-pointers and scored a game-high 27 points off the bench.
