Nothing gets the blood boiling more than to play a rival ... and have we got matchups for you -- Gettysburg at Dickinson, McDaniel at Washington, Muhlenberg at Ursinus, Franklin & Marshall and Johns Hopkins ... and Swarthmore at Haverford. Swarthmore 72, Haverford 57

HAVERFORD -- Karen Berk scored 26 points and Laura Popovics added 19 off the bench as Swarthmore converted its 36-24 halftime lead into a Centennial Conference win at Haverford Wednesday evening.
Cara Tigue grabbed 14 rebounds for the Garnet (7-7, 4-5), who shot 50% in the first half (14-of-28).
Haverford (2-14, 0-9) was led by first-year forward Brittany Lattisaw, who posted team-highs of 13 points, 14 rebounds and four blocked shots.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Swarthmore 60, Haverford 43

HAVERFORD -- Noam Fliegelman scored 18 points and Jon Tundel and Steve Wolf added 12 points apiece as visiting Swarthmore recovered from an early deficit to earn a Centennial Conference win at Haverford Wednesday evening.
The Garnet (4-12, 3-6) trailed, 18-14, but held their hosts scoreless over the last 8:35 of the first half, then pulled away from a 22-18 halftime lead to lead, 29-21, five minutes into the second half.
Johnny Elefterakis scored 13 points and Ben McDowell added 10 points for the Fords (6-8, 5-4).
Swarthmore shot 51 percent from the field (26-of-51), while Haverford struggled to 29.4 percent shooting (15-of-51).
