Sophomore OF Rich Gallugi's RBI single plates the first run of the game - an unearned run after a dropped fly ball on the warning track - Diplomats lead 1-0 in top of 2nd.
Senior 1B Jon Compitello makes it 2-0 on a double that scores Gallugi.
Serro strands two runners (error on 1B, HBP) to get out of 2nd ... Franklin & Marshall 2, Gwynedd-Mercy 0. New pitcher for GMC - Kyle Reynolds replaces Sean Middleton on the mound.
back-to-back singles from Kruger and O'Reilly puts runners on 1st and 2nd for Corey Caruthers ... who hits into 6-4-3 double play to end inning. Middle of 3rd, F&M 2-0.
1-2-3 for Serro in the third ... F&M 2-0 entering the 4th
a Ryan McMahon two-out single scores Troy Peiffer in the bottom of the fourth to close Gwynedd's deficit to 2-1. Serro gets out of the inning but his scoreless streak ends at 14 innings.
